About Phoenix Aero Club
Phoenix Aero Club was established in 1977 at Hoxton Park in Sydney's West, near Bankstown. When Hoxton Park Airport was sold in 2009 the Club acquired brand new premises at Camden Airport.
In April 2011 Phoenix Aero Club purchased Liverpool Flying School and the two businesses merged.
We have 6 planes on line, 2 Skippers for ab initio training, a Warrior, a Cessna 172 or Sundowner for cross-country training and a Sierra for commercial training. We also have a Super Decathlon for full-time tailwheel endorsements and aerobatic rating courses.
Qualified pilots can hire aircraft, including overnight hire, and students and members can participate in the many social events throughout the year, including fly-aways and proficiency competitions.
Phoenix Aero Club clubhouse provides social and study facilities and offers online access for CASA examinations and weather reports.
Come and try your hand at the controls - a TIF (Trial Instructional Flight) costs only $120.00 for half an hour.
